The House of Lithuanian Basketball is an exclusive and the only multifunctional center of its kind in Europe, built in 2020, located in the heart of Kaunas – Santaka Park. It is not just a building, it is a symbol of the great Lithuanian love for basketball. It is not by chance that such a special place was chosen for an exceptional building, where the largest rivers of Lithuania – Nemunas and Neris – meet. The location is unique and locals consider it one of the best places in this city to feel the positive energy of nature, to be inspired by the history of the old town and to enjoy the beauty of the park located at the confluence of the rivers.
Due to its attractive location, House of Basketball is easily accessible on foot, by public transport, by water routes or by car. Visitors can stroll around the historic site, enjoy a picnic by the river or visit the Old Town of Kaunas before entering the Mecca of basketball
history, where the most famous achievements of basketball history and victory trophies are exhibited in a modern environment.
In the newly built Lithuanian Basketball House, everyone has the opportunity to view the unique exposition dedicated to the centenary of Lithuanian basketball, listen to stories about the history of basketball during the tour*, watch a short film created especially for the Lithuanian House of Basketball and take pictures with the best Lithuanian basketball players. Also, in the courtyard, visitors can see the basketball legends and fans court, where the people who made Lithuania famous on the basketball court and who contributed to the development of Lithuanian basketball are forever immortalized.
