In the second round of the 3×3 United League Europe League taking place in St. Petersburg (Russia), the Lithuanian team finished its performance in the quarterfinals. The Lithuanian team of Gintautas Matulis, Vytautas Šulskis, Modestas Kumpis and Ernestas Sederevičius lost to the Serbian team Novi Sad in the first round of the playoffs with the result 18:21.
The opponents controlled the game for a long time and confidently led, although the Lithuanians managed play well and at the end of the game marginal difference was minimal (18:19), but the opponents hit a shot from a distance and closed the game with the final result 18:21.

In the group stage, the Lithuanians defeated the team from Germany – „Bielefeld” 21:17 and lost to the Russian team Tri Zvezdochki – 16:21.
There will be a total of four United League tours in St. Petersburg. In the first three rounds, the teams will get points according to their performance, and the top eight teams will advance to the final round. In the first round, the Lithuanian trio team based around Utena Juventus players finished their performance in the semifinals.
