Today, the draw of the Olympic basketball tournament took place, which has divided 12 teams into 3 groups according to the new format of the Olympic Games.
If the Lithuanian national team will win the Olympic qualifying tournament in Kaunas, then they will compete in group C with Argentina, Spain and Japan.
The first two teams in the groups and the two best teams in the third position will qualify for the playoffs.

The qualifiers in will take place from June 29 to July 4. Lithuanians will play in the qualifiers tournament in Kaunas, in group A, where they will play against the Venezuela and South Korea. Group B consists of following teams: Slovenia, Poland and Angola.
