Lithuanian 3×3 team have finished their run in the semi-finals

The Lithuanian 3×3 team, formed on the basis of Utena Juventus players, have finished their run in the semifinals of the United League Europe 3×3 tournament taking place in St. Petersburg.

Team LT, represented by Vytautas Šulskis, Gintautas Matulis, Žygimantas Skučas and Dainius Novickas, defeated the Team NL,  with the result 22:19 in the quarterfinals.

However, in the semi-finals, the Lithuanians had to acknowledge the advantage of the Tri Zvezdochki team – 14:21 and finished their run in the tournament.

There will be a total of four United League tours in St. Petersburg. In the first three tournaments, teams will earn points based on the place that they finish the tournament in score points, and the top eight teams will advance to the final round.

The two qualifying rounds should include a team based on the Juventus’ team, and the other 3×3 team candidates will form another teams. The coaches of the national team also plan to take part in the FIBA ​​Masters tournament in Doha on March 26-27.
